Why Astrea exists

Martin and Marina, Astrea's co-founders.

Astrea started with a complaint, not a business plan: two people who care about health and training, who like data, and who couldn't find a version of any of it that wasn't a subscription.

Most fitness tracking is built around a straight line — always trending up, always chasing a new personal best. We don't think bodies work that way. They run in cycles: daily, monthly, seasonal, across a lifetime. A cycle phase, a pregnancy, a postpartum year, a decade of getting older: that's the shape a body actually takes. Astrea is built to read that shape honestly, for women and men alike, the way you'd want a good therapist to read it: calmly, without flattening it into a number that's only allowed to go up.

Getting there meant breaking a few rules the fitness-app industry treats as settled.

Privacy first, one purchase. Your data stays local — we don't sell it, and we don't hold it behind a monthly fee. Pay once, and it's yours, permanently.

Built for normal people, not biohackers. Astrea is for people who care about their health, not people who already read HRV research for fun. Usability and aesthetics come before the wall of data and metrics.

If Astrea ever has to choose between reminding you to close a streak or suggesting you go touch some grass instead, it picks the grass. Every time.
